The Head of the Shia Endowment, representatives of other holy shrines, official personages, and heads of different departments in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) attended the ceremony.

The head of the Shia Endowment Sayyid Ala al-Mousawi stated to the Media Center of the Holy Shrine, “Today is a happy day for appointing a secretary general of the holy shrine. Serving in any office needs sincerity and experience. Serving in a place full of angels and Allah’s blessings needs more than these since it contains the holy tomb of Imam Ali (PBUH).”

The Secretary General of the Holy shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), the engineer Yusuf Mahdi al-Sheikh Radhi, thanked and appreciated the attendants. “This is a great responsibility that the Highest Religious Authority of Sayyid Ali al-Sistani honored me with. I thank the head of the Shia Endowment for his support. The best helpers for me are the employees of the holy shrine and I do thank them and ask them to work collectively rendering the best of our service to the holy shrine and the pilgrims to it.”
