“Today, Afghanistan Needs More Unanimity than Anything Else”

“Today, Afghanistan Needs More Unanimity than Anything Else”

“Today, Afghanistan needs more unanimity than anything else” said the prominent Afghan scholar referring to the recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

Ayatollah Seyyed Mahmoud Hashemi Arzagani, at the commemoration ceremony of the martyrs of the recent terrorist attack in Afghanistan and the memorial of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Beheshti, and Hujjat al-Islam Nadir Ali Mahdavi, which was held in the Ghadir portico of the Razavi Holy Shrine stated, “The people of Afghanistan should know their servants and religious scholars as well as the plots of the enemies of Islam and unite against the enemy.”
“The Lord has spoken in this Sura of the triumph as well as the humiliation factors of a nation. He says in these verses, ‘O people, how do you disbelieve, while the verses of the Lord are read to you and the Prophet is among you?” he said, pointing to verses from Sura Al-Imran.
“Sometimes, a nation becomes unbelieving since there is no scholar among them, and they themselves do not believe in a certain religion. However,  people who have the Scripture, religion, Shia, guardianship, Imamate and the religious scholars have no excuse for infidelity and their disbelief is astonishing” he stated.
“The Quran describes this group as follows, ‘O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them’ In the model today, the Jews and Christians are the United States, Britain and Zionism, who are dragging us from religion to disbelief” the Afghan Orator said.
“The first sign of a society that is drawn to disbelief is disagreement and schism. Even though they have common faith, Shia, paths and Qibla. No power can harm the Islamic nation as long as they have unanimity and unity” he added.
“The zealous people of Afghanistan were those who stood bravely against the great armies of the world, such as the Soviet Union and even the much greater army of the United States and won” he said, pointing to the current situation in Afghanistan.
“They unanimity of the word caused all Afghans, including Shi’ites, Sunnis, Hazarehs, Tajiks, Uzbeks and all classes of the Afghan community to be in the same stronghold, and with the slogan ‘the God is great’ expel the enemy from Afghanistan” he expressed, introducing the key to the victory as the unanimity of the word.
“The day when no point had realized the necessity of the organizations, and although they did not have a central role such as Ayatollah Beheshti, they expelled the central areas of the occupiers, and instead founded the Islamic government under the leadership of one jurisprudent called Unity Council, and unfortunately, except for this point on that day, no other point took any positive steps” the lecturer of Al-Mustafa International University reiterated.
"We must admit that the distance made between the guardianship and Shi'a that was created in Afghanistan is a wound that has not yet been healed, and its effects continue to this day," the Afghan scholar said.
“Unfortunately, it was because of this gap that we lost the organization and that center, which for the first time had been established as a religious organization, and most of all, the enemy benefited from this collapse” the godly scholar continued.
“After the collapse of the Unity Council, the enemy most of all benefited, and after that our country became the rainbow of parties and religions and we had to go to every side like a sinking human who clings to anything, and we even reached to the worst government in the world, America” he enunciated.
"Today, some of our people have approached the enemy, and this is not a secret to us, but they were rejected. Some said Ayatollah Beheshti and the Unity Council are American. That incident resulted to losing a brilliant episode of our history like immature children, and I wish it had not come to that” Hashemi Arzagani remarked.
“Today I demand not to isolate this clear point of our history. You were very vigilant, you saw the future much ahead of others; however, then we saw so much damage. We shed much blood in a period due to anarchy and the multiplicity of parties, but the believer has this trait that if he became unclean, he would purify himself and if he committed a sin, he would repent and the Lord would accept his repentance” the Seminary Lecturer said.
“When we saw that the plurality of parties dooms us, we decided to establish a weaker alternative than the Unity Council, so we established the Unity Party, and in fact the unity party was a copied version to make up for the removal of the Unity Council, but it was much more incomprehensive” he stated.
“Today, as Afghan nation, we must come together and unite under a same flag called the Unity Party, and we should have a single line against the enemy. Because today we are in a position that if we make it too late and if we lift up many flags, the people of Afghanistan will be slaughtered” the prominent Afghan Scholar expressed.
