The Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) Hosts More than a Hundred Students from the University of Thi-Qar.
A group of the students in the Medicine, Engineering, and Education Faculties in the University of Thi-Qar had the honor of visiting the holy shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH). Afterwards they met with the head of the Shia Endowment and the head of the Religious Affairs Department in the holy shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Sada.
“We are morally bound to adhere to the principles and teachings of Ahlul Bayt –the Twelve Imams- (PBUT). We should not be deceived by some false claims that mitigate and diminish women’s role in society,” Sayyid Ala gave a speech.
The coordinator between the University and the holy shrine, Khitam Abdul Razaq said, “We aim at raising the students’ awareness doctrinally and intellectually. Therefore, the holy shrine hosted us generously and supported us as well.”
