German Orientalist Converted to Islam at Razavi Shrine.

German Orientalist Converted to Islam at Razavi Shrine.

A German researcher and orientalist converted to Islam at Razavi Holy Shrine.

On the sideline of his visit to the Razavi Holy Shrine, Younes, a new German Muslim, told our reporter, “I have been very interested in East and Muslims since I was a teenager and I had extensive studies in this area. Also, to have a better understanding and familiarity with Muslims, I learnt Persian in six years”.
This young German reiterated, “Many people of my country have lost their existential truth and they are trying to find their lost essence. I, like them, was doing the same unconsciously”.
Younes said, “Belief in one God, Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and all great messengers of God who accompanied humanity since the beginning of creation and guided them to the right path were all reasons for my conversion and I am really confident of choosing this path”.
“Only a small percentage of German people follow Gospel teachings and I believe they are passing their time in a world with no hope and motivation. This kind of lifestyle makes them disappointed”, he went on to say.
He emphasized, “Obeying principles of a religion whose teachings are based on oneness, prophecy and justice will never make mankind disappointed”.
This Muslim convert described his feeling of Razavi pilgrimage as follows, “The moments I passed in this holy and illuminated shrine was very peaceful and tranquilizing for me. I connect my heart to the guardianship heaven of Imam (A.S.) and I am hopeful to become Imam Reza’s (A.S.) guest once again”.
Congratulating this newly converted young man, Seyyed Muhammad Javad Hashemi Nejad , manager of non-Iranian pilgrims’ affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, stated in the same ceremony, “Today, many people of the world have lost their existential truth and they are always trying to find their lost”.
He reiterated, “Many seek for this lost thing in material affairs and many others in worldly transient pleasures, while being faithful to God deeply changes humans’ life and attending to it makes the man’s God-seeking nature awake.
It should be mentioned that management of non-Iranian pilgrims of Astan Quds Razavi offered special gifts and conversion certificate to this Muslim convert.
