Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, took a trip to Syria last night to visit the Syrian holy shrines as well as meeting the officials and different groups.
At the beginning of the trip, he arrived at Damascus airport by the accompaniment of the representative of the Supreme Leader in Syria and in the Quds Force, and first he attended the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.).
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, also this morning after visiting the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Roqaye (S.A.), hosted by the representative of the Supreme Leader in Syria had a conversation with a group of scholars and clerics in the country.
In the meeting, he stressed that the clerics are the guides of the society toward prosperity and excellence and stated, “The clerics should observe the plots and the enemy's conspiracies timely and warn the society regarding whatever threatens the foundations of thought and the true will of the society.”
“Warning about cultural threats, the explanation of religion and Islamic teachings and immunizing the society against the enemy's cultural invasion is a great duty for the clergy toward which they should have an active role” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi stated.
"Today, the jihadi and revolutionary management destroyed the ISIS” he said “a management that did not wait for the equipment and without the fear of the supreme powers of the world, and with the faith in power and divine will proved the slogan ‘we can’.”
Then, in a meeting with the officials of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.), he appreciated the efforts of the officials of this shrine to serve the Iranian pilgrims and expressed, “Servants in this sacred shrine will have a part in the spiritual rewards of pilgrims, and efforts have been made will be preserved with God Almighty.”
“God willing, after the total destruction of Takfiri groups, we will witness the presence of Iranian pilgrims in this shrine” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi added.
After participation in the congregational prayer, he also dedicated the sacred flag of the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine to Hazrat Zaynab’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine.
