Pilgrims Came to Spiritual Pilgrimage of Imam Reza (A.S.) from Long Distances

Going on Imam Reza (A.S.) pilgrimage is a dream for many of lovers and devotees of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) and only three million non-Iranian pilgrims have the opportunity to visit Hazrat Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine.

For the first time this year and concurrent with last ten days of Safar and also martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Reza (A.S.), a large number of lovers of Imam Reza (A.S.) come to the Razavi spiritual pilgrimage through “In the Grief of the 8th Sun” program and “Razavi Ambassadors” dispatch provisioned by Astan Quds Razavi’s Center for International Affairs.
Coming to the pilgrimage of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) is a dream for lots of people living abroad, but long distance has become an obstacle for presence of this people in Razavi Shrine. To overcome this problem, “In the Greif of the 8th Sun” program was produced by employing internet facilities of Astan Quds Razavi. The program was broadcasted on Razavi TV and tied hearts of hundreds of thousands of lovers of this Imam (A.S.) to his shrine”.   
This special program was produced and broadcasted through cooperation of active Islamic and Shia constitutions in twenty places of the world on the night of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S.). Contents of the programs were produced in English, Arabic, Spanish, and Persian. Images were produced with best kind of quality and by means of two cameras locating in roof of the Razavi Shrine’s Inqelab Courtyard.  
To implement this project, more than 260 Islamic centers and popular constitutions were identified in various continents of the world and at the same time making connections with 56 constitutions and cultural centers were followed and finally thirteen centers out of eleven countries were chosen. These countries included Australia, Thailand, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Turkey, Emirates, Greece, Germany, Nigeria, and Syria. Receiving these centers’ readiness, necessary programming was conducted to produce programs in order to be broadcasted by them. According to the polls, these programs have been highly welcomed by lovers and devotes of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) in various countries. 
Using enormous cultural and religious capacities of Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.), wide spreading rich and supreme culture of Qur’an and the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) in the Islamic World, promoting lifestyle of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) in the form of lectures and eulogies for the audience living abroad, promoting illuminated culture of distant pilgrimage which has been emphasized in Islamic and religious teachings, and creating a spiritual link between hearts of lovers of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.), particularly Imam Reza (A.S.) and Razavi Holy Shrine were some of the goals followed by Astan Quds Razavi’s Center for International Affairs in broadcasting "In Greif of the 8th Sun program". 
One of the programs of this center in the international arena was to dispatch Sun Ambassadors to six countries for the first time. These representatives offered lifestyle and conduct of Imam Reza (A.S.) in a specialized and scientific form for the native missionaries in these countries”. 
To do its duties in promoting culture and conduct of Hazrat Reza (A.S.), Astan Quds Razvi’s Center for International Affairs is following teaching and dispatching international missionaries of Razavi teachings as its main agenda. Also, with respect to the importance of offering appropriate propagation and scientific contents in the area of Razavi lifestyle by these missionaries, contents of the cultural packs were approved to be offered in the target countries. These contents were determined by assistance of Islamic Propagation and Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi. For each of these missionaries, special cultural programs containing book, files of digital books, and cultural gifts were prepared, in accordance to their country and mother language.  
246 sessions were held to prepare and teach Razavi conduct to eleven missionaries who were going to be dispatched to Syria, Niger, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. Most of these missionaries were dispatched to India. 
Identifying elites and salient figures that having connection with them can add to the influence of Astan Quds Razavi was one of the most significant duties of these missionaries and ambassadors. Therefore, 73 persons of these elites were identified during the meetings held by these Razavi representatives.
Identifying shrines and holy places having connection with which can be useful for Astan Quds Razavi was another important duty of these missionary groups. These places are useful in a way that experiences can be exchanged between the two sides. During these meetings and in this framework, sixteen holy places, graves or mosques with the name of Imam Reza (A.S.) were identified in these countries and their information was recorded in the Center for International Affairs’ holy places, shrines, and holy centers data bank.
