Vans, Serving over 4,500,000 Razavi Pilgrims.

In the first nine months of current year, more than 4,500,000 elderly pilgrims have been using the services of the vans of the Razavi Holy Shrine.

Director of the pilgrims' welfare department said, "In the course of the first nine months of the year, in addition to the van transportation services, the wheelchair section has provided also the services of carrying more than one million elderly and disable pilgrims on wheelchairs by the honorary servant assistants."
Referring to more than 450,000 man hours of work during this period by the wheelchair section, Hamid Habibipour emphasized, "The servants of this section serve the pilgrims of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.) completely free and honorary throughout the day."
Noting that there are currently sixty vans and more than 350 wheelchairs available to the wheelchair section of the Razavi Holy Shrine, he emphasized, "Contribution in the implementation of the 'Moin al-Zoafa' plan and casting rosewater are among other activities performed daily by more than 2,600 servants of the wheelchair section."
